Here at Home from Home, we would like to express sincere thanks to Josie
Dunne for all her hard work and commitment to the charity for the past three years.
This includes supporting important committee work as well as managing
on-going quiz night fundraisers for us. The most recent quiz night was
on Saturday 3rd March at Christ the Eternal High Priest in Romford.
Josie and her husband Paul joined her to add an abundance of great people skills
to her own. They organised the quiz sheets, prizes, and co-ordinated the entire
event. This joint collaboration gathered up the support of over 80 people on 11 quiz
tables and tripled our fundraising expectations.
It turned out to be the most successful of all quiz nights for our charity, raising over
£922.00 for Home from Home for the Elderly. What is absolutely smashing on this
occasion is that through Brit Insurance employee sponsorship, Josie and Paul
managed to raise a total of £2767.50 for the care of the elderly. In total over the 3
years Josie has raised £6602.50 for the charity.
That is truly amazing work and one that we will never forget here at Home from Home!
